From late November to early January, the centre of Ostend is all about the Christmas market, spread over two squares just a few minutes' walk from each other.

Chalets and carousel: On the Wapenplein you can wander around the bandstand past Christmas chalets with winter snacks, drinks and gifts, with a carousel as the centrepiece.
Skating by the church: On the Sint-Petrus-en-Paulusplein there is a 600m² covered ice rink, next to Chalet Paulette and entertainment for children.
Free and central: Entry is free and both squares are within walking distance of the station.
