- Natural Dune Valleys: These man-made inlays from the 15th century have evolved over time into natural dune valleys. The dune ponds contain fresh water just 100 meters from the sea, a unique phenomenon creating a freshwater lens under the dune.
- Rich Plant Life: The area is known for its rich flora, including five species of orchids such as the common spotted orchid, bee orchid, and marsh helleborine. These beautiful plants are in full bloom, especially in May and June.
- Bird Watching and Migration: The reedlands are a paradise for bird watchers. In spring, reed warblers, sedge warblers, and marsh warblers sing their songs. Visit the migration watch post in spring and autumn to study bird migration. During these periods, tens of thousands of birds pass through the area, and the bittern winters here, creating a spectacular sight.
