Are the beaches of Nieuwvliet open and accessible?

The beaches of Nieuwvliet are open and accessible. Swimming in the sea is also allowed. Everyone in the Netherlands, also on the beach and in the sea, must keep a minimum distance of 1.5 meters from each other (unless they belong to the same household).
Mouth masks are not mandatory on the beach (or in the sea).

In the Netherlands, everyone from the age of 13 is obliged to wear a (non-medical) mouth mask in public transport and also it is mandatory to wear a mouth mask in shops, museums, stations, parking garages, petrol stations and other public indoor spaces.

Are attractions, museums, theaters and other tourist spots still open?

Attractions, theaters, concert halls, museums, monuments and cinemas are open.

Are the shops and supermarkets open?

Supermarkets and shops are open and but need to follow the rules strictly.

Are restaurants, beach-pavilions, cafés and terraces open?

Restaurants and cafés are closed as of October 14, 2020. Furthermore, many restaurants currently offer takeaway. Takeaway food and drinks at restaurants is allowed.

Will events in Nieuwvliet still take place as planned?

Festivals and other events are no longer allowed from October 14, 2020.
